Research

My research combines intelligent systems design and human-computer interaction to support novel educational and universal computing experiences. Past and ongoing work spans educational support tools augmented with AI, pedagogical innovation through experience-based teaching, sketch-based interfaces, and exploratory machine learning research, particularly as it applies to human uses, such as my dissertation work on assessing children’s fine motor development through sketching activities.
