As an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management, my teaching centers on helping students build both strong technical foundations and the practical, collaborative skills they need to apply computing in the real world.
I presently teach a 3-part data science sequence at the Raikes School: RAIK 270, 370, and 371. Together, these comprise the core of data and models, beginning from foundational statistics up to applied machine learning in organizational contexts. I also teach a generative AI course with the School of Computing, as well as other AI-related activities, including acting as the academic advisor for the HuskerAI student interest group.
